This photo from the slopes of Lempert Dome shows  how snowy  the high Sierra peaks were this spring and summer.

  1. Great photos! I haven’t been to Yosemite yet and would love to go. It seems like you just got back from Australia and you’re already on another climbing trip. What’s your secret energy formula?

  2. It’s all been one trip. We drove from Colorado to the Bay area; left the car at my mother’s house and flew from SFO to Melbourne. We flew back to SFO, visited my mother again, and then drove to Yosemite, Tuolumne; Maple Canyon, Utah and back to Colorado.
We camped the entire time, which made the trip cheap. the only expenses were food and campground fees once we were in Australia.
